Though once at risk of disappearing during the Mexican War of Independence, Talavera has endured thanks to dedicated preservation. We’re proud to be part of that ongoing story.

Based in Alum Rock, San Jose, we offer a curated collection of hand-crafted Mexican Talavera pottery, floral arrangements, and plants. Each piece is painted by talented artists in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, making every item one-of-a-kind. By supporting us, you're helping keep this beautiful tradition alive and thriving.

Juan Carlos has been running his business for three years. He began his journey in the hospitality industry, driven by his passion for serving customers and his love of food. While working full-time, he launched “J&C Handcrafted Planters & More” under its original name. Initially, Juan focused on selling traditional Mexican-style pottery, but his late mother’s love for flowers and plants inspired him to expand his offerings. In 2024, he made the bold decision to leave his full-time job to fully dedicate himself to his business and inspire others to bring natural elements into their homes.
